Number 5 Tracing Worksheet
A big, bold number 5 to trace, with three smaller practice repeats underneath so a child can move from a large, forgiving shape down toward normal handwriting size on the same page. Tracing by hand, rather than only looking at the number, is what actually builds the pencil control a child needs before counting and writing numbers unaided. Once the outline is traced, try counting out 5 of something nearby - blocks, crayons, fingers - so the shape "five" connects to an actual amount, not just a symbol. Works well alone or as one page in a full 0-to-9 tracing set, and prints cleanly on both A4 and US Letter paper.
How to print this
- Print on standard 8.5x11 paper or A4.
- Count out 5 real objects after tracing to connect the shape to the amount.
- Great for an early-math or counting routine.
