Letter I Tracing Worksheet
A big, bold uppercase I to trace, paired with three smaller practice repeats underneath so a child can go from tracing a large, easy shape to a more normal letter size in one sheet. Tracing the outline by hand - instead of just looking at the letter - is what actually builds the fine motor control and pencil grip a child needs before writing freehand. Once the page is done, try finding a few real words that start with I, like ice cream, igloo, or insect, and say them out loud together. Works well as a single practice sheet or as one page in a full A-to-Z tracing set, and prints cleanly on both A4 and US Letter paper for classroom handouts.
How to print this
- Print on standard 8.5x11 paper or A4.
- Try finding real words that start with I together.
- Great for a letter-of-the-week classroom routine.
